The UUFCC Grounds are some of the first things members, friends and new guests notice as they approach the Fellowship. Well-kept grounds create a good first impression as well as making our outdoor spaces inviting and usable for the Fellowship and surrounding community.
The UUFCC Grounds needs are currently seasonal; most tasks begin in late Spring, continue throughout the Summer and into early Fall. The time commitment varies by task, available person power, rainfall impacting growth, etc.
We need help with all aspects of the Fellowship grounds including maintaining the Memorial Garden, maintaining the Pollinator Garden, maintaining the planter areas around the building, tree-pruning of low hanging branches, sandbox maintenance to make the space usable for our youth, playground upkeep/weeding, using a trimmer on overgrown grass, using a push mower for grass, using a riding mower for grass cutting, etc.
Even 1 hour a week spent on one of those tasks would be an enormous help and a great service to the Fellowship. Please contact
Mattg@uufcc.com to get involved.
